Your First Year
- Continue to meet with your supervisor to obtain answers to questions regarding your division and position responsibilities.
- Find out how you can collaborate effectively with your team to support division goals.
- Plan to attend the Performance Management Training provided by Human Resources within the first year, prior to your 6-month probationary review.
- Meet with your supervisor to discuss your probationary review. Discuss goals and a career development plan for the upcoming year. Note: If you have prior State service you may not need to complete a probationary review.
- Learn about the programs and initiatives that are aligned with the goals of the agency and how you may contribute by attending virtual Town Hall meetings, the Agency meeting etc.
- Collaborate with the DMAS team by getting involved in community service or employee engagement opportunities at DMAS.
